Next Steps to Become a Licensed Bondsman

  1. Check your email for your SC-BAA login link and course access instructions.
  2. Begin Bail Bond 110 and complete the required 30 hours of instruction.
  3. After course completion, SC-BAA will issue your official completion certificate.
  4. You will then register for and take the Pearson VUE Bail Bonds Exam.
  5. If you intend to become a Surety Bondsman, you must also pass the South Carolina Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer Exam. A course is not required for the P&C license — but the exam is mandatory.
