South Carolina CE Requirements
South Carolina requires all Bail Bondsman to complete:
- 8 hours of Bail Bond CE every year — due by June 30.
Surety Bondsman who also hold a South Carolina P&C insurance producer license have an additional requirement:
- 24 hours of P&C Producer CE every 2 years, due by the last day of your birth month.
Recommended for Surety Bondsmen
If you are a Surety Bondsman and maintain a South Carolina P&C insurance producer license, your P&C CE renewal is separate from your Bail Bond CE requirement.
To stay compliant, you must complete 24 hours of P&C CE every two years before the last day of your birth month. Most Surety Bondsman complete both their Bail CE and P&C CE at the same time to avoid missed deadlines.
